Paper Submission and Publications

Original papers must be submitted in PDF format via the Sciencesconf submission system at this page.

The material submitted for presentation at the workshop must be original, not published or being considered elsewhere. The working language is English. Papers are limited to 12 pages formatted for the Springer book series “Studies in Computational Intelligence” according to the instructions at http://www.springer.com/series/7092. Papers may be submitted in Word or Latex format; the Springer templates can be downloaded at:

All papers accepted and duly presented at the Workshop will be included in the SOHOMA’20 post conference Proceedings, ISI and DBLP Computer Science database indexed, published in the Springer series “Studies in Computational Intelligence”. Selected, extended papers will be proposed for publication in a special issue of one journal representative for the workshop’s domain (Journal of Intelligent Manufacturing, International Journal of Production Research, Computers in Industry, International Journal of CIM). The selection will be based upon the quality of the papers edited in the Springer proceedings, the quality of the oral presentations and the novelty, original contributions and technical soundness of the work. These extended papers will be blind-reviewed, which does not mean their automatic acceptance.

When preparing your camera ready paper please also complete and send by e-mail at sohoma2020@sciencesconf.org the Springer Consent to Publish: Model Contract Book Contributor Consent to Publish (Springer).

SOHOMA’2020 Special Sessions

Scientists are invited to propose “Special Sessions” on subjects from actual SOHOMA’2020 research lines. A Special Session is proposed and organized by 2 or 4 scientists, and will include at least 4 papers submitted by members of professional groups, scientific communities and project teams in the topic of the special session. Special Sessions Proposals can be submitted by e-mail at sohoma2020@sciencesconf.org using the Special Session Template.

Participants can submit papers for the Special Sessions listed below. Authors interested in submitting their paper(s) for a Special Session should normally upload the manuscript(s) via SciencesConf indicating this is a "Special Session submission" and then choose the right special session title in the Topic section
